LONDON - WORK IN PROGRES
The Docklands Project is an ongoing research, documenting the transition of former harbour areas in different cities. Focusing on the high demand for living near the water the project tries to get a grip on shifting social demographics, waterfront development and similarities within these areas.
While continuing to work in Amsterdam and New York, Sem Langendijk is currently developing a third chapter in the project focussing on London, where high-rises and other waterfront developments are redefining a once desolate landscape.
